BF Mechanical Agitation Flotation Machine
The BF mechanical agitation flotation machine mixes pulp and air within a single tank. It generates fine bubbles through a rotor-stator mechanism, drawing air without an external blower. This self-aeration reduces auxiliary equipment and simplifies installation.
Technical parameters
The machine sits in the flotation circuit, typically after grinding and classification. It handles rougher, scavenger, and cleaner duties. A bank of cells is arranged in series, with froth overflowing to launder and tailings moving downstream.
The table spans small laboratory-scale cells to large production units. Effective volume and processing capacity increase with model size. Motor power and air intake scale accordingly, while tank dimensions grow to accommodate higher throughput. Selection hinges on required retention time and target production rate.

What decides the selection
Before fixing a model, confirm the ore’s flotation kinetics, pulp density, and desired residence time. The required number of cells and bank configuration follow from laboratory or pilot testing. Matching the cell volume to the plant’s throughput avoids over- or under-sizing, which can affect both capital cost and operating expense.
