What decides the selection
Start with maximum feed size and ore hardness to narrow machine types. Lab-scale crushability and abrasion tests confirm breakage behaviour and liner consumption. Required throughput and closed-side setting then fix the model size. Pilot or process simulation resolves open-circuit versus closed-circuit performance. Only a written flowsheet confirmation from the manufacturer locks the duty point.
