Agitation Equipment
Efficient Agitation Tank
The efficient agitation tank is a conditioning vessel that disperses flotation reagents or leach chemicals into the pulp stream. Its impeller design generates high shear and axial flow, ensuring every particle contacts the reagent.
Technical parameters
Positioned after grinding and before the main separation stage, it delivers a fully conditioned slurry with consistent chemistry to the next unit process. This reduces reagent consumption and helps stabilise downstream performance.
The model table lists tank sizes identified by the GBJ code followed by tank diameter and height in millimetres. Moving through the range, effective volume, impeller dimensions, motor power and machine weight scale up to accommodate larger flow rates and longer retention times.

Standard-model catalogue figures. Actual capacity, power draw and wear life shift with ore properties, feed gradation and circuit conditions. Use them to shortlist, then confirm the duty by testwork, flowsheet calculation and a written confirmation from the manufacturer.
What decides the selection
To fix a model, define the required retention time from metallurgical testwork, the volumetric flow rate of the pulp, the target pulp density, and the chemical environment (pH, corrosive species). These factors determine the effective volume and materials of construction. Physical constraints such as plant layout and access for maintenance also influence the final selection.
