Filtration Equipment
Belt Vacuum Filter
The Xinhai belt vacuum filter dewaters mineral slurries continuously on a moving filter cloth. A vacuum applied beneath the belt draws liquid through the cloth, depositing a cake while the filtrate is collected separately.
Technical parameters
It typically follows a thickener or hydrocyclone in the dewatering circuit. The machine accepts feed slurries that settle quickly and permits effective countercurrent cake washing when required.
The model code (e.g., DU-12/1000) indicates the belt width and nominal filtering area. Across the range, filtering area, belt width, vacuum consumption, motor power, and installed dimensions scale to suit different throughput and duty conditions. Choose a model after pilot filtration tests confirm cloth blinding tendency and required submergence.

Standard-model catalogue figures. Actual capacity, power draw and wear life shift with ore properties, feed gradation and circuit conditions. Use them to shortlist, then confirm the duty by testwork, flowsheet calculation and a written confirmation from the manufacturer.
What decides the selection
Critical inputs include the slurry solids concentration, particle size distribution, desired final cake moisture, and whether cake washing is needed. Laboratory or pilot vacuum filtration tests on a representative sample are essential because filterability varies significantly with mineralogy. These tests establish the required filtration area and cloth specification.
