Ceramic Vacuum Filter
Ceramic vacuum filters draw moisture through microporous ceramic plates under vacuum, producing a cake that requires less drying energy than a cloth-based filter. Xinhai places the unit after the thickener, where it handles fine concentrate slurries or tailings streams before final handling or disposal.
Technical parameters
The ceramic medium can bypass drying for some ores, reducing downstream units. Ultrasonic plate cleaning while rotating maintains stable throughput across shifts.
The range spans small pilot-scale units to full-scale production filters identified by the TC prefix. The number after TC is not a direct capacity but indicates plate quantity and tank volume class. Buyers compare the number of filter disks, installed power, and tank volume to narrow the shortlist for a given footprint.

What decides the selection
Before a model can be fixed, the buyer should run filter leaf tests on a representative slurry sample to determine the specific cake formation rate and residual moisture. Material particle size, slurry density, and target cake moisture are the main inputs. A site visit to measure available footprint and clearance for plate removal also helps avoid layout rework.
